TD Ameritrade / Waterhouse has relied upon The Heiserman Group for national on-call design services for more than six years. We have provided many services to nearly 100 retail branch locations, totaling more than 250,000 square feet of retail space. THG documented as-built conditions, provided design services, prepared construction documents, and performed interior design for the roll-out of the retail branch prototype (including furniture, millwork and finish selection).
Additionally, THG documented the standards of prototype retail branch development. Each retail location is different, so we provided a unique interpretation of the "prototype" for each branch, whether it was in Boise, Idaho, or West Palm Beach, Fla.
The Kalista Kollection is a boutique gift shop located in a vibrant, popular neighborhood of Bethesda, Md. The owners requested a distinctive space that provides flexibility for its displays and compliments the store’s contemporary merchandise. The Heiserman Group focused on designing a dynamic, modern interior that created a dramatic shopping environment.
The space features a small storefront window that limits displays and reduces daylight. To catch the attention of passersby, THG used bold interior geometry. The dynamic shapes also encourage customers to circulate throughout the space. Light woods and marble keep the space bright and airy. The overall effect is a contemporary, distinctive retail environment.
